RULES (SEASON 9)
1)All Tournaments are played at Pokerstars. You must have an account at Pokerstars. All Pokerstars rules will apply. All tournaments
will be listed in the Tournament section under Private. Pokerstars Tournament Rules. Pokerstars FAQ.
2)All Tournaments will be played on Thursday Nights. Tournaments will be played every week. The
season begins on May 20th and ends on Sept 30th . The Tournament of Champions will be played Oct.
14th with a starting time of 8:00 P.M Eastern Time.
3) The Championship season will consist of 20Tournaments. The player with
the most points after event 5 will recieve a $50.oo Cash Prize. The Point Leader after event 10 will recieve a $100.00
cash prizeThe points leader after 20 events will recieve 40% of Prize Pool prize AND the LousivillePokerLeague.com
Trophey. If the player choses, he/she can just use the money to play in other tournaments.In addition to that, the winner
will also get a nice trophey validating that they are the LouisvillePokerLeague champion. Also the top 10 in points (and all
Tournament winners) after the 15 events will play in the Tournament of Champions. Unlike in Season 1, if you play in ALL events,
you will also become eligible for the Tournament of Champions. Tournament of Champions prize pool is based on all the money
left after paying out league expenses. That extra prize money will be split between top 3 finishers in the TOC event. All
prize Money will be paid out.
4) All events will be NL Texas Holdem, the buy in will be $10..EXCEPTION in events 6 &
13 in which it is a $20 buy in. Points will remain the same.
5)The prize fund will consist of 10% of the purse for that Tournament. The prize fund will be
filled by the players that cash for the Tournament paying back 10% of their winnings. So all players that cash, must transfer
KyTroyD403(Louisville) 10% of their winnings for that Tournament. Failure to do so, will result in the player being
banned from LouivillePokerLeague Online Tournaments. Example: If Joe Smith comes in 2nd in a tourney and wins $36.50, Joe
would send 'KyTroyD403' $3.65. There is NO league fee, so this is how the prize fund grows.
7) Everyone will recieve points this season regardless of finish. Please see point system on webpage for details.
8)BOUNTY: If you win an event, you are required to play the next event..If you do NOT play, your
automatic bid to the tournament of champions will be NULL and VOID meaning you will have to win another event, or come in
top 10 in points to be invited..In the event the previous winner does not play in the current weeks event, the runner up from
last event becomes the bounty..If the runner up doesn't play, it goes down the line to 3rd,4th.5th etc.
* If you make the bounty you will have a CHOICE of 25points or $ 5 cash
9) We welcome all the people that want to play, so if you have friends that would like to play, sign them up and let them
join the fun, but remember anyone who cashes, must pay their 10% of their winnings. Word of mouth is our biggest form of advertising
since this is a not for profit organization. So please spread the word about out league.
10) START TIME WILL BE AT 8pmEST (20:00 on pokerstars). The password will be 'Louisville' for all events.
11) It is IMPORTANT that I have a valid email address for you. it is YOUR responsiblity that I
have your email address. Please send me your info to pokerleague@insightbb.com...I would like your Pokerstars Name. If possible,
provide your real name, picture, hobbies or anything else you want to add for the league to see.
12) HAVE FUN! Just remember, dont play if you cant afford too. Most important rule is to have fun and enjoy our poker community.
13) During Season 9, I will be having 'special events' where players may be able to pick up bonus points.
Such as games on Monday or Tuesday Nights. Could be Omaha games, Could be heads up tourneys, Could be Live Action Tournament
Games etc.
